Mike Lee's unique combination of experience spans the entire communications process, from production planning and campaign strategy to execution and delivery in various forums. His work with Studious One can be seen on E! Entertainment Channel, the Style Network, Bravo! and PBS among other national television networks. Besides his commercial and industrial work, he is a feature producer and reporter for the Emmy Award-winning “OnQ Magazine” news magazine show on WQED-13 in Pittsburgh, PA, as well as creator, host, producer, photographer, and editor for the award-winning “Pittsburgh InSite” online show for WQED Multimedia. He is also the host of the upcoming show “Science Mission 101” on PBS and an independent travel journalist for the Travel Channel and travelchannel.com. As a writer, he was also the contributing Nightlife Editor for Pittsburgh Magazine, PMWeekend, and Metropolitan Magazine.

Lee was one of 12 producers nationwide selected for WETA's News Producers Academy in Washington, D.C. Funded by the Corporation of Public Broadcasting, which he attended in June 2008.
Lee gained critical acclaim for his half-hour documentary "Lasting Lessons: Dr. Randy Pausch & The Last Lecture" (2008), as well as an episodic weekly television series he created, hosted, and produced in 2005 called “Pittsburgh 365.” He was awarded a proclamation from the City of Pittsburgh, sponsored by Councilman Luke Ravenstahl (currently Mayor of Pittsburgh). Lee is also a 2008 Bronze Telly Award winner.
His broadcasting experience dates back to college in 1992 as the color commentary announcer for Dartmouth Men's Ice Hockey and WDCR Radio. He began his on-camera career in 1997 under the representation of The Talent Group (Pittsburgh, PA), through which he has appeared for countless brands including PNC Financial, Xerox Corp., US Dept. of Energy, Ford Motor Co., Key Bank, and many more.

With his unique combination of production management and broadcasting, he founded OSCAR Ventures LLC in 2003, providing strategic advertising and marketing consulting, and print, online, and television production. Studious One was formed as the video production unit of OSCAR Ventures LLC.
Previously, Lee served as Vice President of Business Development and Properties for the Pittsburgh Penguins professional hockey team. While managing the in-house staff of marketing, advertising, and media production, Lee successfully launched pittsburghpenguins.com, PensNet interactive radio with Fox Sports Radio, as well as designed and launched the Penguins' wordmarks and team uniforms.
Lee is a graduate of Dartmouth College, received an MBA from Yale School of Management and an MS from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
